Bridging the gap: Accessible Wellbeing in Scotland
This initiative is dedicated to immersing individuals in the breathtaking landscapes of Scotland, with a strong focus on safety, community, and inclusivity.
My mission is to redefine the wellness industry by bridging the gap between luxury and accessibility, ensuring that positive mental health is a right, not a privilege.
While most wellbeing retreats come with steep price tags, making them exclusive and out of reach for many, I am committed to changing that.
Through secured grant funding, profit re-investment, donations and sponsors, this project offers an inclusive experience that eliminates financial barriers by providing both subsidised spots for those in need and fully paid places for those who can afford it.
This model ensures that everyone, regardless of financial status, can benefit from a transformative retreat experience.
A lasting positive impact
These transformative retreats focus on mental wellbeing and community support and are created to be accessible to all, with subsidised places available by application, to ensure financial barriers don’t stand in the way.
Mental health and wellbeing are deeply personal to us, and through these retreats and a skilled and compassionate team, we aim to create a lasting positive impact for our guests.
If you would like to find out how you can get involved or would like to apply for a subsidised place, please get in touch for more details.
How you could help this Social Enterprise
We also offer exclusive corporate retreat packages tailored to be inclusive for your own company and staff’s wellbeing. These packages provide a wonderful opportunity for team building while prioritising mental and physical wellbeing, resilience, and work-life balance.
Corporate retreats can be hosted on single or multi days, and can take place at any of our listed locations. Please note - single day retreats are held at Glenlivet Estate, or Greenbrae Steading, Hopeman.
100% of the profits from these events is reinvested into the Social Enterprise fund to facilitate subsidised places on the Wilderness Wellbeing Retreats.

87% of past attendees relied on a subsided place to be able to attend the retreat.
"I had a subsidised place which without the financial assistance I would not have been able to attend the retreat. I can not express my gratitude enough for this as it was so beneficial for me to be able to speak so freely about things that I have kept locked up for so long, and spend time in such an amazing place with such incredible people."
What our past guests had to say
The warmth of Yaz and her whole team , The welcome and inclusion that made everyone feel so at ease.
The tranquility of the setting. The abundance of skills and knowledge that were shared at the workshops by such “couthy” people with bags of integrity!
A sense of peace and wellness.Just thank you – was honestly such a magical way to begin the year and I hope to always be reminded of my time up in Glenlivet for years to come hope to book into Torridon !!!

3 out of the 4 workshops I took part in I had never done before so learned from these and have already implemented them into my daily lifestyle and family life.
Learning new skillsMeeting so many strong women was a definite highlight for me
Time stood still for me this weekend. I was a bit apprehensive coming to a retreat on my own but I did not need to worry as Yaz and her team gave us such a warm welcome. (more…)

A subsidised placeThe first time I spoke with Yas I knew that not only was she creating something special at her retreat but the benefit that it would give some of our lads from ANDY’S MAN CLUB. I attended the first one with my colleague and both of us were very nervous about what to expect. Within minutes of entering the family home we were made to feel a part of the family straight away and that led to an amazing weekend of self discovery. (more…)
Alex (Andy’s Man Club)Our experience at The Wilderness Wellbeing Retreat in May was mindblowing. From the moment we stepped out of the car – seeing happy smiley faces all around, breathtaking views and such silence….astonishing. Being immersed in nature(I know that sounds weird) and taking part in various workshops designed to connect you with your surroundings was an experience that we will never forget & will talk about for many years to come. A fabulous weekend in Torridon, with the greatest team. Joyful and so inclusive (age and ability). This is my third Wilderness Fit and am so looking forward to the next one (where are we going Yaz?). Outdoor exercise, lifting rocks, mountain climbers upside down on a tree, pull ups – all the regular gym stuff but in the fresh air, using nature. (more…)
