This Weekend is for you if you want to relax and learn but also push yourself a little and enjoy the breathtaking views on top of Torridon’s finest Summits.
Yaz, who is also a Summer Mountain Leader, will guide a hill day during the 4-day package. The reward of coming back to a cosy cottage and enjoying a feast and evening yoga, perhaps even a session in the hot tub for tired muscles, is well worth the effort.
Accommodation, food and all activities are included in the cost.
Activities include:
Wild fitness sessions in the forest or on the beach
Guided mountain day
Yoga throughout the weekend
Hands-on fermentation workshops and interactive learning
A Fermented Feast
Wild Swims
Hot-Tub sessions
Pilates
Sun-Downers

*An optional extra for massage over the weekend. Our amazing therapist, Lulu, will be on-site at the weekend to deliver a range of treatments. This costs £50 for 1 hour of massage and needs to be added on at the time of booking.

I won’t provide alcohol for the group over the weekend but everything else is covered.
I had a subsidised place which without the financial assistance I would not have been able to attend the retreat.
I can not express my gratitude enough for this as it was so beneficial for me to be able to speak so freely about things that i have kept locked up for so long, and spend time in such an amazing place with such incredible people.
A subsidised placeYaz is an amazing woman, who has so much passion in helping and sharing with others.
Her skill in bringing people together is unmatched and you can see she genuinely cares so much for every single person in the room.
An inspiration and a privilege to be on her retreat this winter thanks again for you time & passion.
🧡
I took a lot of new practices not only from the workshops but the chats with fellow group members.
3 out of the 4 workshops I took part in I had never done before so learned from these and have already implemented them into my daily lifestyle and family life.
Learning new skillsWhat a rad weekend!
Woah what a rad weekend! Thanks so much Yaz for bringing us all together in such a lush space, for the super fun wilderness fit sessions i’m so excited to get out in the woods & explore, I definitely had muscles working that don’t always get to.

The ultimate yin and yangLife has continued to be moving in the right direction, Good vibes from the weekend continued into day to day life, the positive mindset has helped improved the small additions to my life like cooking.
Learned more about fermentation again based around the weekend
A weekend filled with warmthThe first time I spoke with Yas I knew that not only was she creating something special at her retreat but the benefit that it would give some of our lads from ANDY’S MAN CLUB. I attended the first one with my colleague and both of us were very nervous about what to expect. Within minutes of entering the family home we were made to feel a part of the family straight away and that led to an amazing weekend of self discovery. (more…)
Alex (Andy’s Man Club)An incredible wilderness retreat
It’s hard to describe how incredible a wilderness fitness retreat is, never mind adding the majestic Torridon into the mix!
Thank you so much, Yaz for creating something awesome. You nailed it!

stunning scenery and peaceful mountainous backdrop is the cherry on top of this incredible retreat experience.Being part of the Wilderness Fit team has brought so much more to my life than I had expected. Yaz has created an environment in which the facilitators and the participants are not in a hierarchical structure, we are all on the same level and therefore those who contribute to the weekends benefit from the experience just as much. I struggle with my mental wellbeing on and off, as most people do, and these weekends have become my opportunity to reset. (more…)
Hannah, Wilderness Wellbeing facilitator.Just firstly want to say that thank you doesn’t even cover it for having me part of the incredible weekend! You and your family are a powerhouse and so inspirational.
To try and articulate how the weekend impacted me is hard, but I’ll try! As you know, due to my TSW I’ve had a mad year and coming home from Thailand has been a challenge and a half, navigating my old life with its new rules dictated by my skin had got me in a dark place mentally and honestly I didn’t realise how much I’d isolated myself until coming to your home for the weekend! It was confronting in the best way possible to be out of my ‘safe space’ that I’d created for my skin to be ok, and suddenly out of control of the people I saw, the food I ate and the environment I was in. CourtneySea loch dips and mighty long walk up Beinn Aligin
A fabulous weekend in Torridon, with the greatest team. Joyful and so inclusive (age and ability). This is my third Wilderness Fit and am so looking forward to the next one (where are we going Yaz?). Outdoor exercise, lifting rocks, mountain climbers upside down on a tree, pull ups – all the regular gym stuff but in the fresh air, using nature. (more…)
Sea loch dips and mighty long walk up Beinn AliginJust thank you – was honestly such a magical way to begin the year and I hope to always be reminded of my time up in Glenlivet for years to come hope to book into Torridon !!!

KatieFor me the most stressful part was the unknown of camping. I had my case setup as if it was 2 weeks abroad. The drive up was relaxed and hearing some of the stories from the previous year helped. Arriving there, the views were out of this world. Such beauty in our own back yard. The weekend itself was incredible. So many personalities just getting along. So many different stories but one thing in common, well being. (more…)
