Hill Days
Wilderness Wellbeing Community Hills days
Launching in 2026, my Hill Day Adventures creates welcoming, confidence-building experiences in Scotland’s landscapes.
Through guided days in the hills, I aim to bring community together, reduce barriers to outdoor access, and support people to feel capable, included, and at home in the outdoors.
A guided hill day in Scotland designed to build confidence, connection, and belonging in the outdoors. Each day blends purposeful movement in the hills with shared food and time to slow down together.
What’s included:
- A full guided hill day tailored to your group
- Small groups (maximum 6 people) for a supportive, inclusive feel
- A generous lunch feast, shared on the hill or in a sheltered bothy
- Thoughtful pacing, route choice, and space for learning and confidence-building
£350 per day | up to 6 people
You can:
- Book as a group , or
- Book as an individual and join a mixed group The £350 fee is shared between participants .
- With a full group of 6, the cost is £58.33 per person
- If fewer than 6 people are booked, the per-person cost increases so that the total day rate remains £350
This allows the experience to stay small, supportive, and high-quality, regardless of group size.

Hear from our past attendees
Being part of the Wilderness Fit team has brought so much more to my life than I had expected. Yaz has created an environment in which the facilitators and the participants are not in a hierarchical structure, we are all on the same level and therefore those who contribute to the weekends benefit from the experience just as much. I struggle with my mental wellbeing on and off, as most people do, and these weekends have become my opportunity to reset. (more…)
Hannah, Wilderness Wellbeing facilitator.A retreat in nature and surrounded by genuine people
What can I say? I have no words to describe how wonderful weekend you organised. You and the team went the extra mile to makes us all feel welcome and part of the community. I do usually struggle a bit in social settings but I felt at ease. It was the perfect “me time escape” I could wish for. I came back home refreshed, energised and with a happiness I have not had for a long time (3 years to be precise). This retreat in nature and surrounded by genuine people had a magical effect on me.

stunning scenery and peaceful mountainous backdrop is the cherry on top of this incredible retreat experience.I never said anything over the weekend as I wasn’t ready to share, but the main reason my anxiety was so bad was because just before the retreat I was at the funeral of a young person I worked with and looked after. She was my key child and it hit me so hard. I didn’t think I would be in any state to participate in the retreat. I’m so glad I decided to push myself. (more…)

Sea loch dips and mighty long walk up Beinn Aligin
A fabulous weekend in Torridon, with the greatest team. Joyful and so inclusive (age and ability). This is my third Wilderness Fit and am so looking forward to the next one (where are we going Yaz?). Outdoor exercise, lifting rocks, mountain climbers upside down on a tree, pull ups – all the regular gym stuff but in the fresh air, using nature. (more…)
