I am a craftswoman and doula whose work and heart is rooted in the earth and personal relationships. I am passionate about the re-weaving of kinship to the natural world and to each other, through crafts, traditional care and community relationships. I focus on crafts that use organic materials, such as botanical dyeing of cloth, which help reconnect us to the organic, living world around us.

With the overwhelm and disconnect of living in a largely synthetic, sterile and mass-produced world, I believe fully in the power of using our own hands to make beautiful things which return us to our innate ability as human beings to create and care for the earth, each other and ourselves.

Having spent many years in various care roles(with children, elderly, disabled people and new mothers/families) I believe our relationships to one another are vital and that they largely determine our wellness through lifes challenges and transitions. Caring for each other also guides us back to our sense of purpose and belonging as humans.

My main focus in this area is with women and families at the core, and aims to rekindle aspects of relational care skills(physical and emotional) that have often been lost or fractured in the modern world.
